Step 1: Sorting, Disassembling, Packing, and Loading Belongings onto the Vehicle

  • Sorting: Identify items to be moved and categorize them by size and nature.
  • Disassembly: Dismantle electronic devices, wooden furniture, cabinets, shelves, and items from shelves and walls, etc.
  • Wrapping: Use PE film to wrap bulky items, electronic devices, and household appliances.
  • Packing: Pack items according to their classification.
  • Labeling and Marking: After packing, apply labels and clearly mark the cartons containing belongings to indicate their contents and handling instructions.
  • After loading all belongings onto the vehicle, seal the truck using security seals.
  • Cleaning personnel will arrive to clean the departure location.

Does bTaskee's moving service include insurance for belongings during disassembly, assembly, and transportation?

Yes, bTaskee’s all-inclusive moving service offers insurance and warranty policies as follows:

  • bTaskee will be responsible for any damage or loss to the customer’s property during disassembly and transportation. If any damage or loss occurs during the move and it is determined to be caused by bTaskee, the company will be responsible for repairing and compensating 100% of the value of the property after depreciation. (The value of the loss will be determined based on the market price of the items at the time of the incident, as agreed upon by both parties or assessed by a third-party valuation service).
  • bTaskee provides a 24-hour warranty (from the completion of the task) for cases where the customer’s installed furniture is not correctly assembled. However, this does not include the relocation or repositioning of items that have already been set up. For air conditioning units, the warranty for water leakage and gas issues is 7 days (from the completion of the task). bTaskee is not responsible for any items or boxes packed or disassembled by the customer prior to the move.
  • bTaskee is exempt from liability in cases of force majeure as defined by law (including but not limited to airplane accidents, fires, earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions, natural disasters, wars, riots, terrorism, organized theft, or use of weapons…).
  • Customers are responsible for safeguarding valuable items such as money, gold, jewelry, and high-value personal belongings. For fragile or high-value items, antiques, or sentimental items, customers must notify bTaskee in advance so that appropriate packaging and transportation arrangements can be made to ensure safe delivery.
  • If customers discover any loss or damage to their belongings or equipment, they must immediately inform bTaskee so that both parties can complete a damage report before the task is finished. Failure to notify bTaskee immediately will result in any future complaints being unresolved.
  • Customers are responsible for arranging someone to supervise and inspect the belongings during the transportation process.
  • Customers will be legally responsible for all goods and legal documents related to the items they request bTaskee to transport.
