Identify, implement, and execute best practices, design/coding consistent standards for engineering
Work closely with engineers and CEO to prioritize initiatives to deliver the greatest value to the business
Mentor engineers and help set best practices in writing maintainable, supportable code including quality, logging, security, monitoring and alerting
8+ years professional work experience
3+ years of experience in managing engineering teams of 10+ engineers in web and mobile development
Experience in Agile Methodology
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL and Big Data technologies
Prior experience developing functional and reactive cloud-hosted backend services
Experience in distributed/scalable systems. Ability to design high performance applications/services
Experience with design patterns, Micro services, Behavior driven development, CI/CD
